What is Google Cloud?

Google Cloud Platform(GCP) is a suite of Open Cloud Computing services offered By Google that runs on the same infrastructure that Google uses internally for its end-user products, such as Google search and Youtube. Google Cloud Platform(GCP) is a part of Google Cloud which includes the Google Cloud Platform public cloud infrastructure, as well as GSuite, an enterprise version of Android and Chrome OS, APIs(Application Programming Interfaces) for Machine Learning and Enterprise Mapping services.

What is GDG Pune?

GDG Pune is an open community for Technology enthusiasts.The Place for Developers to Discuss Google Technologies in Pune. They hold regular sessions in Campuses and other venues for working professionals, students and technology enthusiasts. Events consist of talk sessions, demonstrations, hands on coding sessions and social events for the community members. .Google Developer Group meets once on every month. They try to engage student developers, fresh graduates and professionals through our hack events & meetups. The motive is to create a local ecosystem of programmers & hackers in and around Pune.

My Journey Of Being a Google Cloud Quest Leader 2019:

Journey Starts, When I am in My Third Year.I am a person of very enthusiastically interested to explore new Technology.It all started on 16th March 2k19 , when I attended my first session on Google Cloud Study Jam. Before that, I had only basic idea about the cloud. But, during the session I got introduced into various topics of the cloud thanks for GDGPune, @WTMPune .Thereafter in the last month, I have attended session for Cloud Study Jam to help my college friends too and get to even more exposed to the trending field.

Before July ,I have just completed about 75+ labs on Qwiklabs. And, Today as a part of same journey in another challenge for Previous month.I had completed in total 250 labs ( 33 total quests!!).

Though,In between, I have completed quest for Kuberneets too. Allover I have utterly realized that one just needs to persistently practice to get used to something new. Once you are used to it, then it feels all delightful & comfort. I left one comfy zone to get into a new zone and made it more comfy. Which I done frequently !! :)

With positivity I was inbuilting myself more & more .

“Learning is not attained by chance, it must be sought for with ardor and attended to with diligence.”

I was excited to take part in many more challenges like these. The learning curve has been huge in the last 30 days or so.

And, finally! I have completed the half specialization, without leaving the course in middle. Working on GCP earlier on made this course extremely easy to work with. I am going to continue the streak with Google Cloud.

Also,I have enlightened & trained 20+ student in webinar to achieve and kick-start of their goal.

When should join a Community?

I joined the community when I was in second year.That is the time where you didn’t get everything about technology.But,with experience comes you came to know about it.If you are in a community you can get always gets explore in your career.

The GDG(Google Developers Group) Pune is a Great community. If you are a beginner and want to join then it’s a great chance for you as you meet expert Developers who can guide youi in right way, and if you are an Expert Geek than you’r most Welcome to Join Community and Guide Beginner. It Was Fun to Explore new Things with Each Other.
