In this blog I will explain what is Pdoc .

PDOC (Process Document) is the object used to control and document the change of supplier process. The statuses of the change of supplier process, the related activities, and the received or sent messages are recorded in the switch document.

The point of delivery is the central element in the change of supplier process.

The switch document contains the following elements:
Header data
The most important control data for the change of supplier is defined in the header data.
1. Document header (point of delivery, business partner, participating service providers, switch date, status).
2. Process data (switch type, switch view).

Activities
The individual process steps for the change of supplier are defined as activities.

Log
An application log is used for the switch document to record additional information regarding errors and actions.

In Process Document we need to configure the IDoc, Steps, Check Framework, EMMA (Exception Management), etc.

IDoc is like a data file with a specified format which is exchanged between 2 systems which know how to interpret that data.

Process Document is customized SAP ISU IDEX solution can be designed per Deregulated Market .
