What is Google Cloud Community Day INDIA ?
Ten GDG Cloud communities are collaborating to bring the largest Google Cloud event in India. GDG Communities is for all passionate Developers who are interested to know the power of Cloud and how they can build it.
An amazing lineup of speakers was there featuring Developer Advocates, Partner Engineer, Google Cloud Authorized trainer, and Google Developer Experts, and Prominent Developers Speaking how they use GCP.
What is GDG Community?
GDG Community and is an open community for Technology enthusiasts. The Place for Developers to Discuss Google Technologies in all over the world. They hold regular sessions in Campuses and other venues for working professionals, students and technology enthusiasts. Events consist of talk sessions, demonstrations, hands on coding sessions and social events for the community members. Google Developer Group meets once on every month everywhere. They try to engage student developers, fresh graduates and professionals through our hack events & meetups. The motive is to create a local ecosystem of programmers & hackers in and around world.

So let us come to Google Cloud Community Day INDIA. It was a 2-day track starting from Jan22–23,2021 virtually.
Day 1 — Highlights
The Welcome keynote by Priyanka Vergadia Mam Developer Advocate , at Google Cloud. She shares with us Why Google Cloud Certifications, Why it is important?, Why should I certified, and What path we can take for certification. Also is Experience is important for Certification.

1.Compute Decisions on Google Cloud Platform
This Session on Compute Decisions on Google Cloud Platform: Choosing the Right Compute Resource by Vijeta Pai, Founder of Cloud Demystified. The Session was Based on depth of Compute Resource. She also talked about compute resources in point of view Google Cloud Associate Exam. So why is compute is important because this a first step for running your Application on the cloud. The session also includes lot’s of depth Informative Information Related to Compute resources. The Session also includes a Hands-On Live Demo.
2.Networking demystified
This Session is on Networking demystified by Dharmesh Vaya Director of Technology , at Agrahyah. The Session includes how we can connect our On-Premise Data centers to Google Cloud. This topic is important in point of view Cloud Architecture Exam. The Session also includes a Hands-On Live Demo of a Case Study.
3.Principles of Data Engineering
An amazing Session on Principles of Data Engineering Antrixsh Gupta CEO, Founder & Chief Data Scientist , Danalitic. He talked about what are the roles of Data Engineer. Also a Problem Statement releated to uber business model.
4.Simplify ML with AutoML
Fourth session on ML with AutoML by Maitreyi KV Software Engineer , at Xoriant. This Session includes a Deep Dive into Machine Learning Technologies and also Discussed How Auto ML Platform makes Easy to take your ML Project From Idea to Deployment.
I had also written a blog on Auto Ml where I written how to setup Auto ML using the Kaggle dataset and Cloning Python notebook from GitHub.
That was all about Day1.
Day 2 — Highlights
1.Storage Decisions on Google Cloud
This Session is on Storage Decisions on Google Cloud Sathish VJ an Google Cloud Authorized trainer also runs a YouTube channel, called AwesomeGCP, where he teaches people how to apply Google Cloud and also prepare for the certifications. This Session includes a depth of Storage in GCP. In point of every exam Storage is a important topic.
2.Designing for security with IAM
Second Session on Day2 is Designing for security with IAM Rushabh Vasa Co-Founder , at Agrahyah. This Session includes a IAM(Identity and Access Management) roles and policies, including custom roles, and Cloud IAM best practices.
3.Massive Scale Data Analytics in GCP
Third session on Massive Scale Data Analytics in GCP by Anshul Budhiraja Consultant , at MediaAgility. The Session includes BigQuery best practice with a case study model.
In panel discussion a great talked by Abdul Muneem, Mohit Bhardwaj, Romin Irani, and Shashi Ranjan.
4.AI Platform for Model Building, Training, and Deployment.
The last session on AI Platform for Model Building, Training, and Deployment by Viren Luke Radhakrishnan. This Session includes a Deep Dive into Machine Learning Technologies and also Discussed How Google AI Platform makes Easy to take your ML Project From Idea to Deployment. He also Explored TensorFlow, Deep Learning Model and Many More.

I joined the community when I was in second year. That is the time where you didn’t get everything about technology. But, with experience comes you came to know about it. If you are in a community you can get always gets explore in your career.
The GDG(Google Developers Group) Pune is a Great community.
